Super Metroid Redesign Axiel Lets Play Fan Fiction: Part 5 - Vegastar Has an Echo, Axeil Is a Mute

In this installment of our Super Metroid Redesign lets play fan fiction series, we're diving back into the action-packed world of Zebes. After a brief hiatus due to some technical difficulties, we're picking up where we left off with Axeil's adventure.

As you may recall from previous episodes, there was an embarrassing reason for this pause in our gameplay. Unfortunately, I stopped providing commentary about 10 minutes into our journey, and things got a bit dull. We fought a boss, met the infamous Wall of Doom, and even encountered COCKSUCKER - not exactly thrilling moments. However, I did re-play those sections to make sure we're back on track.

After that, we searched for the Morph Ball and tried to locate some essential items like bombs and other goodies. Luckily, Roundabout joined me for guest commentary, which added a fun twist to our adventure. With renewed energy, we set off to explore the space station and kick-start our journey on Zebes.

For those who may be new to this series, Super Metroid Redesign is a complete ROM hack of the classic Super Nintendo game, released in 2006 with numerous patches since then. This revamped version boasts new physics that make Samus Aran's movements more challenging, tougher enemies, and innovative items like wall jump boots - just to name a few. It's an exciting take on the original Metroid adventure, and we're excited to see what it has in store for us.
